Tobias Rieger
I am a Master’s student in the Scientific AI Lab, where my current work is focused on improving the modelling of non-local correlations in the context of the OF-DFT Model. I chose this project as it lies at the intersection of my interests in Machine Learning and Condensed Matter Physics, which I deepened in particular during my Master’s. Previously, I did my physics bachelor in Heidelberg. In between my bachelor’s and my master’s studies, I worked as an intern for half a year at Zeiss SMT.
Outside of the lab, I enjoy doing sports, mainly Calisthenics and some Ultimate Frisbee. Apart from this, I do voluntary work for the church youth organization “Katholische junge Gemeinde” (KjG) in my hometown and recently started learning the guitar.
